Counting Miracles

Count the Dewdrops, Count the Waves, Count the Stars…

Count… and Count… and Count the Miracles…

This is an image of beads which are used to count the positive blessings in a person’s life. If one can think of ten personal blessings, it can change one’s mood. When someone takes the time to think of a hundred positive things, it can change one’s perspective on life. These thoughts can include favourite tastes, smells, sights, sounds. For example, the taste of raspberries, a child’s smile, a leaf dancing in the breeze… Once we focus on the positive everyday things that we often take for granted, we discover the wonder of the world around us.

This image inspires the viewer to identify all the possible ways to give kindness and to recognise when kindness is reflected in everyday acts that are sometimes taken for granted.

Kindness is powerful… it can change a life…it can change the world.
