“The Field”

This etching was inspired by a field outside Knockroghery village in Roscommon. A solitary oak tree sits on the horizon which has thrived on its own down through the decades. “A Legacy of Kindness”

When it is all over… May flowers bloom where we have passed…

May hearts be warm having known us…

This artwork depicts the graveyard in Gorodishche, Belarus on a snowy January day. That day, I reflected on how hundreds of Irish volunteers have given love and kindness to the beautiful children in the orphanage there. The picture is about the importance of leaving a legacy of kindness once we’re gone.

The Journey

Walking a Path that is Only Your Own…

This drawing seeks to make us reflect on our journey in life…to ask ourselves the question: am I on my own path following my own unique truth or simply following the crowd? We need to continually ask this question of ourselves so that we are not swept away on the rollercoaster of life and left with regrets when we arrive at our destination.
